It all started 8 years ago today with one simple blog post: Zeitgeist Defined. Happy 8th Blogiversary!
In addition to teamsiems Zeitgeist, I now write three other blogs: teamsiems tweets, Adventures in Flying, and Noms For The Win.
It all started 8 years ago today with one simple blog post: Zeitgeist Defined. Happy 8th Blogiversary!
In addition to teamsiems Zeitgeist, I now write three other blogs: teamsiems tweets, Adventures in Flying, and Noms For The Win.
On this day in 2005 I posted my first blog entry and defined the direction of this website: Zeitgeist Defined. Happy 7th Blogiversary!
I still hold true to my mission: publication of the intellectual, moral, and cultural climate of this era. I also think it is important to develop and defend your personal brand. With the tag line “a team of Siems making observations,” I believe I both define and defend the teamsiems brand. I will continue to do so as long as I am able.
Happy 6th Blogiversary! I defined teamsiems zeitgeist in my first post.
I know I always say this, but a lot has happened in 6 years and 320 posts. My mom and aunt Ruth died, Twitter and Facebook grew up as social media giants. Barack Obama became the first black President of America. I traveled to Europe. And, I got remarried to a wonderful woman.
Five years ago today I posted Zeitgeist Defined – my first blog entry. Happy 5th Blogiversary!
A lot has changed since then. I moved from Blogspot to Blogger to WordPress and tried to keep all my posts together. Ironically, in 2005, I foresaw the hassle of moving blog content around and that’s what held me back for a few years. But, alas, I had too much to say and no where to keep it so I started teamsiems zeitgeist.
I’m still observing the times and happens around me – still staying true to the original premise.
Here’s to the next five years.
Well Google has compiled their most searched list for 2008. Funny how the term zeitgeist found its way on to the name of their list. I guess it fits my definition of zeitgeist.
One year ago today I posted my first blog entry, Zeitgeist Defined. Happy 1st Blogiversary!
I think I’m still holding true to the mission: publication of the intellectual, moral, and cultural climate of this era.
Here’s to next year! Cheers!
Webster’s dictionary says that zeitgeist is “the general intellectual, moral, and cultural climate of an era.” My interpretation of a blog is the publication or physicality of zeitgeist.
UPDATE: This post was pulled from the old teamsiems zeitgeist blog.
